We wanted our properties to reflect the three pillars of the ethos of Secret Bay: sustainable luxury, quality construction and a relaxed Caribbean lifestyle. Award-winning architect Fruto Vivas came up with the brilliant design.

Sustainable Luxury

Both villas and bungalows are available for purchase. Villa options include: the Honeymoon Villa with one master bedroom; the Two-Bedroom Villa; and the Standard Villa which has a master bedroom and a second smaller bedroom, although villas can also be customised on request. The second bedrooms can be configured to your taste: guest, children’s bedroom, study or office. The smaller one-bedroom bungalows are on two floors and are available at a lower price point.

Quality Construction

The properties have been designed and built according to global best practices and standards for environmentally-friendly tourism development. Solid construction with concrete foundations has been beautifully complemented by a unique superstructure built entirely with sustainably-sourced Guyanese Greenheart hardwood.

The villas and bungalows have been painstakingly constructed by hand to withstand hurricanes and earthquakes using the very best team of dedicated engineers, joiners, and builders. Construction, signage, fencing, landscaping and irrigation were developed with low impact on our precious land.

Caribbean Lifestyle

Spacious Villas:

All the luxury villas are raised from the ground to give you the feeling that you are suspended above the world. This clever design allows for better ventilation, magnificent views, optimal use of the land underneath and of course minimal impact on the landscape. The villas have been well spaced out over the breathtaking property to ensure seclusion and privacy.

The villas have their own pool or garden Jacuzzi and offer spectacular views from numerous outdoor spaces to maximise indoor/outdoor living. The bi-folding doors and many windows ensure the villa is always full of natural light and ventilation - although air-conditioning is available if you prefer.

Treetop Bungalows:

The romantic two-floor bungalows have been tucked into the forested hillside with views into the trees and the ocean beyond. With floor-to-ceiling windows on both floors and a terrace perched in the treetops, you are surrounded by all the tropical forest’s shades of green, the varied Dominican birdlife and the gentle crashing of the waves below. With luxury furnishings and Secret Bay’s reputed attention to detail this is a haven of peace and relaxation with all the comforts of home.
